How Can I Stop My Bad Self-Esteem?

I think that I have horrible self-esteem! Does anyone know a couple of ways I can stop thinking so negative about myself??

I am 21 years old and have has bad self esteem as a child. TEACHERS- What gives girls bad self esteem in the high school environment?

I figure you guys see it happen all the time. So what is it? Seeing thinner/prettier girls? Girls with more expensive stuff? Its for an english paper. OH and can prettier/thinner/more wealthy girls bring down other girl’s self esteem by constantly parading their beauty/thinness/money and showing off to them?

Why is it that most girls have really bad self-esteem issues?

Pretty much every girl (I’m mostly talking about teenage girls) I know, myself included, have major self-esteem issues- in the way they look, their social status, relationships, and etc.

But the funny thing is most of them aren’t UGLY or anything they think they are. Some of them are beautiful inside and out except for a minor flaw.

why is this so?
